Cassidy was born and raised in Idaho Falls. She attended Brigham Young University-Idaho, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. While training to be a nurse, Cassidy assisted a provider in delivering a baby. Her previous passion for women’s health and maternity care was amplified, and she was drawn to midwifery. She worked as a mother-baby nurse at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for two years while preparing for graduate school. She then attended Frontier Nursing University to earn a Masters of Science in Nursing, graduating from their Certified Nurse-Midwifery program.

Cassidy completed her clinical training to become a Certified-Nurse midwife at Leavitt Women’s Healthcare and is excited to join the team as a provider. She is particularly excited to provide care to the women and families of the community she has been a part of her whole life. She has a special desire to provide high-quality midwifery care for the whole person- physically, mentally, and emotionally throughout the lifespan. Whether it is for maternity care, birth or, general women’s health, she wants to empower women to become active partners on their healthcare journey.

Outside of being a midwife, Cassidy loves being a wife and mom. She also enjoys camping, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
